| TIAGS cordially welcome first international passengers arriving Ho Chi Minh City on New Year’s Day.TIAGS staff welcome all of first flights of TIAGS airlines clients from New Year Eve to the end of New Year’s Day. The year’s first international arrival was a Singapore Airlines flight from Sydney, Australia, which landed at 9:05 a.m. with nearly 140 international guests on board. A Vietnam Airlines flight followed with nearly 100 guests from Taiwan and a Malaysia Airlines flight with 80 passengers. On Thursday morning, many TIAGS staff wore the traditional ao dai and suits standing at intervals hanging banners inside the airport saying Happy New Year. John Lachapelle, a Canadian who arrived on the Singapore Airlines flight, told the Daily that he was surprised with the beautiful garlands and the red envelopes of lucky money and traditional musical perform. “It’s my first trip to Vietnam. It’s so nice because I received a warm welcome from the city,” he said. The campaign was appreciated by airlines clients representatives and passengers. Many airlines representatives sent email to TIAGS showing their appreciation as Mr Nguyen Vinh Hung Station Manager of Air France said "We appreciate TIAGS' action welcoming AF passengers on 01 Jan.
