The CAAV has just received the application to open an Airline named air Speed Up, chaired by Mr Ha Huy Dung.

The charter capital of the company is estinated at VND 200 billion, which is the minimum regulated in the Aviation Law of Vietnam. The company plan to operate domestic routes.

Mr Ha Huy Dung is the one that has ever opened a consultant company for Boeing in 1997. He is also very well-known in the Vietnamese Entertainment Industry.

If accepted, the company will operate the first commercial flight just at the beginning of the Winter Schedule 2008 with the wet-lease fleet.

At the moment, Vietnam has 04 domestic airlines, giving transpotation to about 16 million people a year domestically and internationally. Recently, Vietjet, the first Vietnamese private-owned airline has been approved for flight operations.
