WORK DETAILS: 

- Position: APRON GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

- Apron ground support equipment operator of TIAGS directly operate specialized modern aviation equipment for departure and arrival flights at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

- Apron ground support equipment operator will work officially at TIAGS after graduated from professional training course as follows:

A. JOB DESCRIPTION

I. PASSENGER SERVICE:

- Operating specialized aviation equipment such as passenger steps, passenger hilift truck to assist passengers to/from the aircraft.

II. BAGGAGE SERVICE:

- Operating specialized aviation equipment such as baggage trator, container/palette loader, conveyor belt, transporter to transport cargo and baggage from aircraft cargo hold to terminal or storehouse and vice virsa.

III. AIRCRAFT SERVICE:

- Operating specialized aviation equipment for aircraft such as air conditioning unit for passengers hold, power unit, air starter unit, potable water truck, lavatory truck and towing tractor. 

B. NATURE OF WORK

- Employees have chances to work in an international environment with specialized modern equipment.

- To be trained to operate specialized modern avitation equipment and to know about avitation field.

- Always working under high pressure to ensure flights are on time.

- The job is organized according to a linked processes and coordination between many different departments.

- Working time on shift from 42 to 48 hours /week (8 hours/shift) including Sartuday, Sunday and holidays.

- Large working area and travel a lot, often influenced by sudden changes in temperature and weather.

- Attending professional training course to update the specialist knowledge about operating new modern equipment.
