PASSENGER SERVICE STAFF

TANSONNHAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT GROUND SERVICES (TIAGS) – a member of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation welcomes and looks forward to working with dynamic, enthusiastic candidates in operations at the Tan Son Nhat International airport.

Position: PASSENGER SERVICE STAFF

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TITLE

- Male, Female, graduated from high school.

- English 350/390 TOEFL TOEIC or equivalent. Applicants who have certificate in Russian (C degree), French (DELF level B1), German (OSD Certificate level B1), Japanese (Nikiu Level), Korean (Topik certificate level 3) are allowed to submit English Certificate after enrollment recruitment 24 months.

- Ability to use office computer,

- Good looking, no defects, good health

- Time for registration: from Aug 23 to Aug 29, 2011 (morning only on Sunday)

- Time for examination: from Aug 24 to Sep 9, 2011

- Required document for registration (original and copy):

1. Copy of high school qualifications (or college, university);

2. Language certificates;

3. Identity card;

4. 02 color photos (4x6).

WORK DETAILS:

Position: PASSENGER SERVICE STAFF

Passenger service staffs of TIAGS directly welcome passengers, and clear all aviation procedures for departure and arrival flights at Tan Son Nhat airport.

Passenger service staffs will work officially at TIAGS after graduated from professional training course as follows:

A. JOB DESCRIPTION

I. DEPARTURE FLIGHT:

+ Receiving and processing all the flight related information: list of passenger, special information of passengers.

+ Preparing for working instruments and other necessary facilities.

+ Doing check in process at the counter.

+ Checking out the travel documents of passengers.

+ Seating arrangement, deliver boarding pass to passengers.

+ Getting checked baggage handling.

+ Giving direction for the next procedure to passengers.

+ Doing special service for passengers who need assistance

+ Guiding passengers to the aircraft.

+ Controlling the number of passengers on the aircraft.

+ Giving special assistance to passengers to boarding.

+ Completing the procedure and send messages to the concerned airports.

II. ARRIVAL FLIGHT - TRANSIT FLIGHT:

1. ARRIVAL FLIGHT:

+ Receiving and processing all the information of passengers and luggage.

+ Preparing for working instruments and other necessary facilities.

+ Implement the welcome process for passengers from the aircraft to the terminal.

+ Doing Special Service for passengers who need assistance

+ Return luggage to passengers.

2. TRANSIT FLIGHT:

+ Receiving and processing all the information of passengers and luggage.

+ Preparing for working instruments and other necessary facilities.

+ Implementing the welcome process for passengers from the aircraft to the terminal.

+ Implementing transit procedures and giving direction for passengers to the domestic terminal or to continue other international flight.

+ Doing Special Service for passengers who need assistance

III. LOST AND FOUND AND HANDLING OF EXTRAORDINARY BAGGAGE CIRCUMSTANCES

+ Receiving and processing all the extraordinary baggage information and massages of passengers.

+ Receiving extraordinary luggage circumstances such as: lost or damaged by wear, tear off...

+ Implementing the searching process by world tracer system

+ Return luggage at the airport or take the address of the passenger.

B. NATURE OF WORK

- Employees are frequently exposed to many passengers in domestic and international terminals as well as other working department at the airport.

-  Always working under high pressure to ensure flights are on time.

- The job is organized according to a linked processes and coordination between many different departments.

- Working time on shift / caps (flight schedules, 24 hours/ day)

- Large working area and travel a lot, often influenced by sudden changes in temperature and weather (temperature difference between the ramp and the terminal).
